10 Perfect Items You Need for Your Next Camping…

Our last post was all about great places around the world where you can go camping. But what kind of things do you need when you go camping? Below is a list of ten awesome items you’ll want to take with you on your next camping trip! Just click on the photos to head over to their Amazon page if you want to buy them.

1. Tent

You really can’t go camping without a tent. This awesome 4-person tent from Coleman is perfect for all your tenting needs. It comes in two color choices and you can choose to get two sleeping bags with the tent. It’s made of polyester and should easily set up in 10 minutes or less. Looks great to me! When we next go on a camping trip, we’ll definitely get this tent!

2. Sleeping Bag

You don’t want to sleep outside without a great sleeping bag, especially in the colder months (like right now). This sleeping bag from Abco Tech is great for near-freezing temperatures, you can machine wash it, and it comes with an easy-to-use and portable bag. I kind of wish it came in other colors, but I do like the colors they chose. Would look pretty cool with the navy blue version of the Coleman tent, don’t you think?

3. Portable Stove

Besides cooking over a fire, it’s good to have something to cook on. Check out Coleman’s portable propane stove! It’s got two burners (so cool) and doesn’t look very big, so it shouldn’t be too hard to carry it around. It says it performs in extreme conditions and uses less fuel. Sounds good to me! Another great product from Coleman.

4. Knife

We certainly never want anything bad to happen on a camping trip, but it’s always better to be prepared. Make sure you have a great knife with you for self-defense, fishing, or whatever else you may need it for. You never know! As the boy scouts say, “Always be prepared!” Plus you can personalize this knife with your name or any other text you want.

5. Whetstone Knife Sharpener

This is our newest product and goes perfectly with the hunting knife! It’s portable, easy to use, and very important to keep your knives sharp and ready to go. You didn’t really expect us not to advertise our awesome product, did you? We can’t help but be proud of it! It even comes with a box you can keep it in as you add it to your backpack with your other camping gear. All you need is water.

6. Water Flask

You need to keep hydrated anytime you’re outdoors so keeping a great water flask is vital. This one is from Hydro Flask and comes in eight awesome colors! You can choose from 32 or 40 oz but they have other sizes as well. It should keep your water cool for 24 hours and is BPA-free.

7. Backpack

A backpack is essential to carry all your camping equipment! This backpack by Venture Pal comes in nine beautiful colors, can hold 35 liters of items in the main compartment, and has two front pockets and two side pockets for storing smaller items. It’s lightweight, compact, and durable.

8. Hammock

(All these first images are black, I just noticed that…lol) If you prefer to sleep off the ground or want someplace to rest in the afternoon, a hammock is a great investment. This one comes from Wise Owl Outfitters and comes in a whopping 26 different colors. You can get a single or double hammock depending on whether or not you want to share. (It’s okay if you don’t)

9. Camping Lantern

It can get extremely dark when you’re camping¬†because you no longer have all the city lights. This camping lantern by Etekcity comes as a 4-pack with 12 batteries. It is dependable, convenient, and has a low battery consumption so you won’t have to keep changing them out.

10. Hand Warmers

Even if you wear gloves, in the colder months they aren’t going to fully protect your hands from the cold. So, if you know your hands tend to get cold easily, why not check out these Hothands hand warmers? They’re easy to use, long-lasting, and portable. Just put the whole box, or grab a few out of it, and slip it into your backpack. Make sure you bring enough for everyone!
